It is a sign of good speakers when they inspire Club members to interact with, and help, each other. At this week’s meeting Prof. Dennis Garland encouraged a ‘mutual aid discussion’ among members about the ways they could use their special talents and connections (State Parks, Greenway Commission, Neighbors Foundation) to help projects both for the GI Club, Salvation Army and others. That was after Prof. Garland after described his life journey and association with Tonawanda Corps of the Salvation Army. Great meeting!
