Alan M. Geldin, 77, of Grand Island, New York, passed away on Friday, Jan. 13, 2023
. He was past president of Grand Island Rotary Club, a Paul Harris Fellow and chair of the Student of the Month program for many years. A member of the club since about 1987 and an honorary member in long standing. He was very active in the Rotary Club of Grand Island, Grand Island Boy Scouts, and Little League baseball. He was a big supporter of the concession stand in Veterans Park during the days the Rotary Club volunteered there.

Alan graduated from SUNY Plattsburgh with a Bachelor of Science and a master’s degree in audiology from Syracuse University. Alan was a clinical audiologist in Niagara County for over 45 years.
Alan was born in Rochester, New York, the son of the late Faye and Norman Geldin. He was the beloved husband of Linda (Schechter) Geldin; father of Stacey Geldin and Brian Geldin; and son-in-law Stephen S Miller. He cherished his three grandchildren: Eliana, Hayden and Landon Goldsamt.
