Grand Island Rotary will be hosting the 2024 Participate for Polio on the District 7090 USA side of the border this year. We are looking to host up to 35 participants who will be raising funds for Ending Polio. Back your favorite person to raise funds that will eliminate this disease once and for all. Raise for Polio Event page to register or donate. Raise for Polio - If this is your first time joining a team on Raise for Polio, click the link to "JUMP TO JOIN THE USA TEAM" to register and start fundraising, from the landing page scroll below the picture and headers to "Team Members, Would you like to fundraise for Polio Fund? Join our team!". Click the Plus sign to create your fundraising page. Be sure to personalize it with an image and why you want to help End Polio. SAVE. We will be getting an update on Family Justice Center work here on Grand Island. They have expanded the children's corner and have added a clothing closet. They need new clothes for our clothes pantry. We are currently in need of black leggings or sweats in sizes xs-xxxl and black or grey t-shirts and hoodies in sizes xs-XXXL. Can you help? Dress for the weather and comfortable boots. We will start at the Kaegebein parking lot with locations divided amoung teams to pick up the 2.3 miles of trail and highway right of way. Keep track of the collection and they will be weighted to add to the town and Rotary District total. If you have pickers bring them, there will be some for those who do not have them. |
