The Rotary Club of Grand Island, chartered in 1959, is part of Rotary International, a worldwide service organization. As such we participate in both local and international service projects. Many of our local projects, as listed below, are evident to many Island residents. Our international projects, of which we are equally proud, cover the globe from helping to eradicate polio to supporting the hospital project in Nepal.
Our membership is varied and includes men and women who are leaders in education, business and the professions. All of us participate in our fundraising and service projects building goodwill and fellowship in addition to having a good time.
